Freyd Visuals is all about capturing moments that feel like part of a bigger story—images that stir emotion and leave you wondering what’s beyond the frame.
The brand was designed to showcase that same layered, intentional feeling. “Freyd,” drawn from Brandon’s Yiddish heritage, means “joy”, and reflects the spirit behind the brand.
I carried these ideas into the design by creating a mark that brings in the Yiddish lettering of ‘freyd’ to feel subtly symbolic and rich with meaning. The square element hints at a frame—a visual cue that ties back to the idea of capturing a moment in time. The rustic, imperfect style brings in a slightly frayed, handmade feel that reflects the soulful, artistic nature of the brand.
The color palette is grounded in blacks, whites, and soft neutrals to let the photography take center stage, while the teal and gold colors add depth and character without pulling focus. Altogether, the brand feels thoughtful, a bit raw, and full of quiet impact, just like the visuals it represents.
“Prompt, thorough, with an enviable attention to detail, Taylor is a pleasure to work with. She not only produces great, unique work, but makes the process simple and transparent. Highly, highly recommended.” Full review
